Character: Shadow Canon: Sonic the Hedgehog/Post-Shadow Generations-Colors Armada: Corsair
About: Created to be the ultimate lifeform, seen as either a weapon of war, or the key to all matter of medicine, depending on who you talk to. His traumatic and violent past shaped him into being distrustful, cold and difficult to connect with. He's also troubled by his own creation that he avoids connecting with others, for being different and "not like the others". At times, he will generally take action with little regard of others. Something about being the Ultimate Lifeform has him thinking he should be able to do everything himself. He's very mission driven and not one for small talk, more of a "action speaks louder than words" type of character. Gradually, as he began to gain more experience about the world and being around others, the wall he's created has started to lower, just a smidge. While the past still haunts him, he does not let it control him. As he figures out what it means to live for himself.
Abilities: Extremely durable, doesn't get sick and immortal, though any fatal hit will kill him while here. At the moment, he only has his super speed and strength, but he'll likely be regaining his previous abilities near the middle of the month after finally getting a tattoo. His chaos abilities include creating spears made of chaos energy that can stun and teleport short distances. With a Chaos Emerald, it will further amplify his chaos abilities and be able to use Chaos Control, which normally would stop time, but it'll only slow it down within a short vincinity here. Fancy powers aside, he has proficency using various weaponry and vehicles, and unarmed combat.
The tattoo will give him access to the darkness element with death-like abilities. Presumably manifested due to having the DNA of an alien race of conquerors that uses organic beings as fuel for their army :>. This will be tied to him eventually getting his doom powers back, but for now, the most he'll learn during the first month is being able to phase through shadows and implement with his current skillset. He'll also be avoiding making physical contact with others until he figures out how to not suck the life out of things.
PLANS
General: Shadow needs to find some hobbies to occupy himself and not be hyperfixated on foiling whatever Eggman is up to. He's going to be doing a lot of traveling investigating sites he thinks the Doctor would be interested in, being ruins/temples with any mentions of artifacts. Yea, he seriously needs to allow himself to explore other avenues with his time. He also gotta deal with some unsavory abilities given after getting a tattoo. Having dealt with death in his past, some caused by his own hands, he definitely doesn't like how he can drain the life out of things.
He also sort of tossed it in the backburner, but after helping around the conservatory last month, he realized he could do more than just fight to help. Or maybe he knew, but never gave himself that opportunity to consider. As he was created to be a cure, somewhere down the road, I like him to learn that he can explore this, that he has an opportunity to do what he was created for in some form in this world.
MANTA Board: - Deal with some abonminations.[A Rumour of a Mad Monster] - [Treasure Hunt] He has one piece of the treasure map if others want to discuss with him about it. - He is hitting up All Bounties because he needs money. Besides Sherlock and Beat's, would like to keep it to one person each if there's interest.
These are things he would be interested in, but I'm down for sillier quest. Event: Just planning to tag out at the moment. If anything we can do close prompts if people have ideas when the event drops.
CR Dreams: Make friends really. He's been through a lot and intentionally avoids people unless necessary, so someone has to be really patient with him. On the opposite end, someone who will drag him to do things is also good. End of the day, I just want him to learn to be kind to himself, and that he's allowed to have fun.
