in all seriousness. drayton is annoying. he is one of blueberry academy's elite four, a dragon-type pokemon trainer. frustratingly perceptive, he will use every bit of knowledge he's picked up to be as irritating as possible.
or, rather, he would, if he wasn't nerfed by being the laziest boy in existence. despite clearly being capable and intelligent, he's been held back three times (he thinks. even he isn't sure); in his own words, "not made for classroom learning". an extrovert too unmotivated to actually be bothered with the "extro-" part. despite that, he's not a bad person. he will tease relentlessly and stick his nose into other people's business, but it's pretty much always for a greater net positive purpose.

clockpunk ; exhausted post-canon card game anime protagonist. has survived two apocalypse attempts and three direct attempts on his life and just kind of shrugs it off these days?? even though he's the "singularity" whose actions as a four-year-old unknowingly stitched the fates of two planets together, chrono is genuinely a pretty average highschooler who probably just needs a significant amount of therapy. not that he would ever admit that. he's Fine.
a little reckless and sort of book-dumb, chrono makes up for that with sharp emotional intelligence and an intolerance for bullshit. in true card game anime fashion, he does have some powers - he just keeps forgetting about them because they actually suck, and chrono is insistent that he's just a normal cardfighter. an ambivert who is good at making friends despite his slightly abrasive manner, he is one of my strongest characters to play and i really really love him. redhead idiot squad candidate.

wails ; hey this one isn't a punk teenager. nikkari is a tsukumogami - his true form is actually the sword that he carries, with the body you see just a manifestation of that blade's spirit. having been summoned to join an squadron of fellow swords in order to defend the timestream from invaders who wish to alter history, nikkari is a capable fighter with some interesting powers at his disposal.
nikkari has a slight complex about his history as a blade, where he was once used to slay the spirits of a woman and child. this renders him unable to qualify as a holy weapon, though he still works extra hard to make up for this perceived sin. while mostly pleasant, kind, and helpful, he is also an egregious flirt who speaks often in innuendo. and if that doesn't unsettle you he's also got that same slain ghost woman living in one of his eyes (she is actually pretty chill). i could see him falling in with either armada. genuinely a really good friend to make, if you don't mind the occasional suggestive comments.
