Our CR Meme CR Workship is where players can drop all the cool info for their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. Be sure to look over the MANTA Board as well as current events if you'd like to include them in your post.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

About: Tadashi is a 20 year old robotics student who lives with his aunt, younger brother, and their cat. He is kind and compassionate, ready to learn and grow from any mistakes he might make - but also willing to run into a dangerous situation to help someone. Tadashi firmly believes "someone has to help", in big and small ways. Which is why he created a healthcare companion named Baymax as a student project - never giving up even when he failed to get it working properly.

Abilities: He's great at robotics, driving his moped, karate, but he has no special powers. I would like him to gain fire powers here in Escordvi. While he'd be hesitant to use it for actually hurting people, I do want it to have healing abilities for both him and others, and of course... flying. Let him be a superhero like that. Join a crew

General: Beyond the powers thing, I do want him to eventually open up a robotics shop - the Hamada bros - bringing cool things to Escordvi. Though that will come after he has a chance to learn how magitech works and all. To big brother as many people that will let him.

Joshua is a long-lost prince who's seeking to find the truth in his world, achieve freedom, and seek a better future for all. He is studious, determined, gentle, well-spoken, chivalrous and book-smart. He is also the Phoenix Dominant, the summon, which means he commands the ability to call upon his Eikon at any time and cannot be burned by fire. He's pretty much a walking spoiler for the game, so please check out my application or his wikipedia for more on his story and abilities.

General:

📌 Joshua is in the middle of killing a death god. His crew recently found a relic called a wisdom cube that will be able to hold the god that Joshua’s been carrying around with him. Then the crew is going to nuke it to pieces this month.

📌 After Joshua and Crew finish with this monumental task, Joshua is going to be very weak and use a lot of his aether. That means he’s going to be handling petrification of the body and extreme fatigue and weakness.

📌 But after all is said and done, Joshua is going to look forward to finding peace. He wants to spend time with his family and make friends and stop coughing blood up all the time. Make friends! And find love?

MANTA Board:

📌 Not too much for Joshua for the Manta Board this month, as he’s going to be very busy. But he would be interested in easier tasks like Jumping Jellies or Beta Testers Wanted.

About: Zack is a former soldier turn runaway who has been through a lot of shit and really needs to find a break in his life. But he is a workaholic and extremely optimistic, and tries to see the world past the bitterness that he's often faced with. He's heroic, easy-going, friendly, protective, and one hell of a fighter. He quickly gets along with others and often encourages them to do their best, and can often be seen as having a very puppy-like personality. He might not be the smartest guy around but boy does he have spirit.

🐺 Zack was also mildly injured in The Abyss a few months back and is still recovering from some lasting injuries and sickness from that but for the most part he’s alright.

About: Izuku is the main protagonist of the anime, a boy born without a quirk or meta-ability in a society where most people are born with them. He is later granted a quirk by his idol and mentor All Might and manages to make it into a prestigious Hero School to become the best hero that ever was. He's friendly, smart, determined, focused and incredibly strong! But he can also be nervous, shy, overly reckless and prone to mumbling. He's just a big soft nerd, please be his friend and let him talk about nerdy things.

🥦 Izuku and his crew PLUS ULTRA have recently found an island and have decided to call it their home base. They named it Hero’s Rest and it’s a big mountainous island with some old hot springs and an area they will be making into a battle coliseum. Come visit them sometime!

🥦 He is still mildly recovering from the ghost player plot back in July, where he saw the remnants of one of his hero mentors. He’s coming to terms with the fact that his quirk feels different these days.

🥦 Him and a few of the other boys might be looking into getting a business licence soon to add “hero agency” to the list of things their crew encompasses.

🥦 He will be getting a canon update this month for real this time. He will be coming back with some very harrowing information from his canon and worried that someone very close to him is in grave danger. I’ll leave spoilers out, but let me know if you would like to know more.

MANTA Board:

🥦 Snaxburg Reinvestigation Izuku and Katsuki own a small Strabby named Cherry Bomb. So, naturally Izuku will want to return to this island to try and help find a solution to the weird parasite part of these little guys. But he’ll also be horrified that people are capturing and cutting them open…?!

🥦 Adamantine Forge He has been actively helping Emet-Selch with building the engine workshop so he will be here to help with testing too! Maybe Izuku can team up with someone to see how much they can get an engine to power up.

🥦 Disguise & Deliverance He would be very interested in trying to help rescue the captive targets. And I just love an excuse to put Izuku in a maid dress. Come dress up and sneak in with him.

Event:

🥦 Izuku will participate in the Paladin side of the armada competition! He will help volunteer, explore island ruins and compete in mock ship battles. Their ship is equipped with hydro canons so be prepared!

About: Dongfang Qingcang is a self-important jerk who is used to being the most powerful and important person in a room. He is often very cold and unintentionally rude towards others and has almost no sense of other's personal spaces - but he does have a very strong sense of his own. A what's his is his and what's yours is also his mentality in many ways. He can and will respect (some) boundaries, but often has to have them pointed out in the first place. He is protective of those he considers to be 'his people' because it's only if someone is one of his people can he allow himself to take responsibility for them and show loyalty to them (because of royal responsibility reasons) but is learning to expand that definition to 'friends'. He got pulled to this world and has spent the last ten months getting ~character development~. He used to have no emotions at all - literally - and learning to live with emotions (and realizing he likes having them and wants to keep having them, even the bad ones) has been a ~process~.

He's also managed to realize he's fallen in love with the pretty Orchid plant spirit and they are now betrothed and he is stupidly excited about it!

Abilities: So many. He is a literal god-like being (xianxia media 'god') who has been brought down a few pegs in power level, but he's still got a lot to work with. You can find the details here.

Orchid | Love Between Fairy and Devil | Paladin

About: Orchid is a flower spirit or so she's told who lived in the Heavenly Realm her entire life until she accidentally places a curse onto the big bad of the Moon Tribe - the eternal enemies of the Heavenly Realm. Shenanigans ensue, she is declared a traitor and kidnapped by Dongfang, slowly falls in love with him, and now they're engaged in game. She is a gentle soul, who isn't afraid to put her foot down when necessary, and often ends up in trouble because she's just sometimes too curious for her own good.

Abilities: Plant power. She can talk to them, make them grow, make them wither, heal them, and has some cleansing ability - though it's not very strong. I'm not sure if she'll develop in game powers, she can kind of be OP if she ever unlocks her true potential someday.

General: Flower shop. I honestly would love for her to open up a flower shop on Eltrut someday. Where she can not only sell flowers, potted or cut, but also help people grow the seeds they collect in a short amount of time. Someday she and Dongfang will get married.

About: Darin is modeled after your stereo-typical JRPG/Shounen protag. He's big, he's loud, he's animated, he's got a heart of gold and a hot-blooded temperament. He's got some powers linked to a demonic god of destruction that he's got HUGE issues about. He's also a Master Blacksmith and recently opened up the Starmetal Forge!

Abilities: Darin has super strength and resilience and accelerated healing as well as some transmutation magic that he's not even remotely aware of yet and likely won't be for a LONG time. He passes himself off as someone naturally athletic with a build that matches almost twenty years working in a forge

PLANS

General: Darin is currently still recuperating from his fight with Ganondorf last month. He'll be wearing more shirts with sleeves to hide the EGREGIOUS gloom burns on his biceps and shoulders but people are more than welcome to spot the edges of them. He's also going to be looking for people to train him. He's never trained his abilities before and NOW he's actively looking for someone to work with. Beyond that, he's had an offer to join Cid's crew that he's still waffling on AND he's working on Karlach's heart so if anyone wants to meet him through expanded CR, I'd love that!
MANTA Board: The quests that I'll probably throw him at are Emet-Selch's Adamantine Forge (for obvious reasons) and Cid's Beta Testers. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have him go underwater ruin exploring and I'd also love to have him impersonate a paladin officer for Infiltrate and Liberate if people want to spot and catch him! I'll likely be putting up a log this weekend!
Event: I will try and top-level for this one for sure!

About: Plus Ultra is a Paladin Armada crew that is looking to recruit other like-minded paladins or corsairs for exploration and various hero duties. They sway on the side of good and protecting others who might not be able to protect themselves. While they do recruit corsairs they hope to always be a crew that works for the good of others. About: At his most basic, Roxas is the what happens if you take the protagonist of Kingdom Hearts, Sora, and put him on mute. He's an oddity in the world, but has finally fought through trials and tribulations to be his own person. And then he ended up in a pirate world just before he could start figuring out his life. It's been a time.

But overall, he's a friendly kid whose walls come down easily enough. Things have been going well for him so far.

Abilities: Roxas can wield two keyblades and has access to basic elemental magic. Maybe he should get a tattoo upgrade.

PLANS

General:
-I was on hiatus for August so I am eager to do things now.

-After taking a big hit a few months ago, Roxas has been trying to get stronger. So he's interested in training or any activities that might help with that.

-He's got an Open Log here with a few MANTA board quests where he's been paralyzed by Jellyfish and is trying to take pictures of cats. Also, he's snuck over to Nograd to do some skateboarding. Please note that he is deliberately concealing his appearance.

-He's been here for a year, so dealing with that. I guess. Also probably have some feelings about his castmates showing up.

Event: Don't have any major plans and will probably be tagging around unless I get inspired for a top level.

About: A lazy, generally unmotivated lion man who really doesn't want to put too much effort into things. He could be suffering from depression, who knows. He has a dangerous unique magic that allows him to turn pretty much anything he touches into sand--this includes living beings (fortunately, this is nerfed in game because...aha...). He will come off as a jerk for the most part, but he's...sweet. Deep down. But he respects women greatly.

Abilities: He has a wide range of magic and is capable of turning anything he touches into sand if he so wishes it. Otherwise, he's got an incredible sharp nose to the point where he can sniff magic on people.

PLANS

General:
➡ No real plans, but I do want to force Leona out of his comfort zones just to get him a little more...active. Ish. He'll be found taking naps in random places until he finds a spot that he likes a lot.
➡ Definitely not now, waaaay into the future, if he ever gets motivated enough but I eventually do want him to make his own crew. This is mostly because he doesn't appreciate being bossed around by others too much.
➡ Someone just...drag him around. Please. He won't like it, but he'll deal.

Event: No major plans, but I'll be poking around and tagging out.

CR Dreams: Open to anything, really. Leona's more on the antagonistic/neutral side since he doesn't really like anyone, but if you put in the effort for him, he'll eventually start returning the favor. That being said: come annoy him.

About: Prickly hero in training with a good heart. He's loud, abrasive and rude. But he's had his ass kicked by character development and has learned how to be a team player. He's still a punk, just one who's a little more mindful these days.

Abilities: His canon power is his quirk: Explosion. He sweats nitroglycerin which he can then ignite, blowing things up! I've been debating a long time about what to possibly do with tattoo powers. And I may or may not let him get water magic just because I think he'd hate it? Not totally sure yet.

PLANS

General: I'm always down for quests and for building more CR for him. I really enjoy throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what will stick? September is a rough month for me for various reasons and I can never be sure if I'll be 'oh God I can't tag anything' or 'tag all the things to distract myself' day to day. But tell me you want him and I'll toss him your way?
Event: I'll probably tag out this month to better control how much is on my plate. But if anyone wants a specific prompt, I'd be fine doing a top level for those.

CR Dreams: I want anything and everything. He's a grouchy brat with a good heart so while he's not the easiest to befriend, once he likes someone he will protect them and show he cares in... admittedly rough ways? It's fun to play off older characters that are like "Oh God someone needs to keep an eye on this chaotic brat." So if any adults want to try to wrangle him they can feel free. And it's also fun when people antagonize him. But I will take anything.

About: A friendly, bright boy who's been through some stuff. Ventus is still recovering from being in a decade-long sleep and then being thrown into a war shortly after that. He's friendly and generally likes making friends, but won't hesitate to fight if it comes down to it. Don't mess with his friends and he won't mess with you!

Abilities: He generally has magic at his disposal already and can wield a Keyblade!

Magic, Science, and all-the-ways-they-mix Research Team!

There are a lot of forgotten relics, forsaken lands, and forbidden arts lost to the waves and time. The Raiders of the Lost Arts are dedicated to finding, researching, and potentially utilizing whatever they can find. Legal methods of acquiring information and research materials may or may not be followed.

The crew is also incredibly inclined towards Moon-themes and most of them are bibliophiles.

Pitch: Do you like Moon puns? Do you like books or magic? Do you like long walks on strange beaches where you may or may not be discussing a current research project, chasing down curses, or investigating strange food-based creatures? Do you really - and I mean really - enjoy naming everything after the Moon?

Then the Sailor Moons - I'm sorry, the Raiders of the Lost Arts - are the crew for you!

We're a laid back group OOC and IC are largely focused on doing individual research projects on our fully kitted out ship - it has a lab space that has been upgraded for both hammerspace size and specialized magical research tools and equipment. Our island base has a lot of possibilities for investigating magical phenomenon while fighting off and/or befriending a host of strange plant-hybrid creatures. Even if you aren't a researcher at heart, there's still plenty of space for those that are friends with the lab-rats and those that just want an easy paycheck watching their back.

Crew: The Hideaway
About: The Hideaway's purpose is a bit "loose," taking more of a independent, free to do what you want direction. A chance for people to choose to live on their own terms. Taking the odd jobs, helping others, and just living a more "free adventure life" of the Corsairs, even acting something like "Robin Hood" with their actions. It's a place Cid hopes to foster the talents of others and help them feel like they belong somewhere. However, although the Hideaway is on the "nicer" side of the Corsair group, they still behave and act more like outlaws, willing to bend and break the rules if needed. Just usually for good. They also have a bit of "trying to kill a god parasite" problem but it's fine it's fine.

Pitch: If you just want to have fun and have five powerful Dominants behind your back, this is the group for you! We're pretty loose and Cid himself tends to look at people for their talents (especially tech savvy!) and need for a place. So yeah a fun, comfy "found family" type of group. Cid is also running a "magitech" type business so, those interested in inventing and engineering are also welcome. With their own island, they'll be looking to develop more so they have the ability to have more independence if needed. Those who may want to stay in Escordvi long term may also find a place here as Cid is looking into it and the rifts.

Even though they are Corsair affiliated, Paladins are welcome!
