Character: Zelda Canon: Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, in between Memories 8 and 9 Armada: Paladin or Corsair
About: Princess of the fantasy kingdom of Hyrule which is constantly being threatened or destroyed by the same green-skinned asshole (or sometimes the abstract concept of said-asshole's ceaseless hatred). Zelda grew up under tremendous pressure to awaken her divine powers and save everyone from destruction, but she failed and everyone died. One self-sacrifice and 100 years later, Hyrule is saved (for the moment) and Zelda gets to recover from her trauma and be happy... until she gets sent back in time and to do it again.
Generally, Zelda is a bright and friendly young woman who really, really likes science and has a bad habit of trying to sacrifice herself to save her kingdom. She will get all up in your business and make herself your problem whether you want her to or not.
Abilities: Zelda basically has two kinds of magic: light magic and time magic. She presently has tattoos that allow her to use both of them. She also has her secret stone, a power amplifier that she wears on her person at all times. You can find a more detailed breakdown of Zelda's powers in her app.
PLANS
General: Zelda had a really upsetting altercation with Ganondorf last month where she found out he killed Sonia, her ancestor/surrogate mom in TOTK. He made her feel powerless to help people and she has really taken that to heart.
Because of this, she's thinking about establishing her own crew. Her goal is to create a crew focused on providing aid and relief to anyone, regardless of affiliation or armada. Think along the lines of the Red Cross and similar organizations. Her crew will run a sort of "hospital ship" and will sail anywhere they're needed.
At the moment, Zelda is focused primarily on providing medical aid and healing. (As her crew grows, they will branch out to offer other kinds of aid.) She's capable of administering first aid, but she really needs to recruit a proper doctor or healer.
Zelda is still in the early planning stages of her crew, so it's not yet formally established, she doesn't have a ship, and recruitment is not open.
Consider this an interest check! If you're interested in your character joining Zelda's crew, please comment and let me know! (More info about this in the "CR Dreams" section.) All crews need a variety of people with different skills, so even though I'm looking primarily for doctors and healers, more or less anyone is welcome. This is still very fluid, so expressing interest does not lock you into joining.

Event: Zelda will definitely be going to the island of ruins. Not because she has any interest in competition, but because she didn't get to go to the abyss and she wants to go research damnit. You can count on her to ~fraternize~. I have no idea yet if I'll TL but the chances are there.
CR Dreams: What I want: -new cr!!! -strengthening current cr!! -nerdy types -quiet and/or grumpy characters who do not want Zelda to bother them -negative cr in general. doesn't have to be enemies or anything. i just love when Zelda clashes with other characters. please bring out her feistiness. -anyone weird. Zelda works really well with weirdos. -doctors/healers to join her crew (preferred) or assist temporarily. --if a character is already part of another crew or just doesn't want to join Zelda's, they serve aboard her ship in a temporary capacity, like for a month or two. The caveat here is that anyone who serves on Zelda's ship, even temporarily, must follow her charter. Characters must agree to temporarily set aside their other allegiances and pledge to provide care to anyone in need, corsair or paladin, rival crew, whatever. Her goal is to be as neutral as possible. -characters interested in joining her crew in general --like i mentioned earlier, her crew will need more than just doctors. characters with different skills are welcome and encouraged!
What I'm offering: -princess currently passing herself off as a researcher -massive science/technology nerd -moderately well-adjusted 20-something with a side of PTSD -friendly and excitable person who will get all up in your character's business whether they want her to or not
