PLAYER INTRO: JULY 2024

YO HO AND AHOY EVERYONE! This post is our catchall gathering place for all new and old players to meet and greet. Introduce yourself and the character you're bringing in, giving us whatever info you feel comfortable with! Don't forget to join the Discord server if you haven't already! Hello friends! I'm Starfighter, formerly here as Maria Renard and now back with a new muse. This is Agatha of the Woods Beyond (but you can just call her Agatha) and she's from the book series The School for Good and Evil. It was turned into a Netflix movie back in 2022 with some minor changes.

In the beginning Agatha is an unwilling Reader who was whisked away with her best friend Sophie to the School for Good and Evil where fairytales are created. She's a girl who just looks the part of the evil witch from a fairytale and Sophie looks the part of the princess and yet Agatha ended up the princess in the School for Good and Sophie ended up the witch in the School for Evil. And the only way out? Finish your fairytale, of course.

Welcome back Starfighter!! I am so intrigued by this character and her canon, I've never of it before!! If the movie any good? I'll have to check it out!

The movie is absolutely beautiful, the CGI work is great but the story really lacks. They left out quite a few action scenes, condensed things down and that sort of thing. I will say the actors and actresses are terrific!

I will say the characters are written differently from how they are in the books so don't be too surprised if you watch it and this Agatha is different from the movie one. I did like her though!
